The moment you all have been waiting for...

Guess who's back? Our golden haired blue hammer warrior of justice, Edelweiss! Many people have missed her including me and now we finally get the chance to have her in our harem. To get this gem, you will have to farm for her currency just like the Lavender event. It will be a mixed green flower that you see down here. The rates are the same as well, the girl is 2k and the rest is cheaper. The maps are super easy although you may have some trouble completing them for the medals. If you see a secret stage option after finishing a map, its not for bonus currency so keep watch on that.

 
 
 
 

 

 
 
 
 

A couple changes occurred in this patch and one very noticeable and helpful one is that now the maps are colored in and visualized depending on what it is. Like now the evolution dragon map will have evolution dragons depicted on there, event maps will have whatever the background of the maps are. Very helpful for those that are still new and do not know which is which.
One thing that has changed for events is how the cutscene loads in. It like doesn't now. As soon as you start the map, the cutscene will now play instantly instead of waiting for the map to load. Although after it ends, you do still have to wait like you did before.


No one will stand in the way of justice!

Along with a new revival event, there is a new selection gacha now. I do assume it is the past girls promotion seeing as they were in the Edelweiss cutscenes since usually the new characters always make an appearance in them. They are the all blue team! The probability of obtaining these girls go up if you are lucky enough to roll in their rarity!

New character quests are out as well, Sakura for the rainbow, Edelweiss as the event girl, Lilac is someone you can buy in the shop right now, and the three star, Alstroemeria. Remember that completing a characters quest grants you a unique earring just for her. And we hear in the future that they may possibly be upgraded to become better.The stats right now is better than a +10 shiny atk earring with a little added defense. More atk or more def depends on

Canna Character Spotlight

You know how every country has a dialect or two of their own, almost even making the same language completely different. Japan is no different. The main language is what is spoken in Tokyo and most city-like places and another is from the Kansai region which includes famous cities like Kyoto and Osaka. It is located in the mid lower left section of Japan. While there are a few different dialects in Kansai, the most known one is from the major city Osaka and some will even call it Osaka-ben to refer to the dialect. Why am I talking about dialects? It is because a month ago or so, FKG has introduced their first character that speaks in this way, and she is the flower knight known as Canna which the Character Spotlight will be on today.

Dressed in a festival fashion and a promoter for a sexy girl house paradise, this knight loves her money! Canna(カンナ) is from the Bergamot Valley region and her attribute is striking. Her flower meaning in game is passion, admiration, solid way of life, and delusion. While she does like money, her number one priority is protecting the things she loves and that is her reason why money exists. Her preferred present is jewels. As is typical with most event girls, her stats aren't very high though some might find her ability helpful. Starting from the top, her hp caps at 9000 with a bonus of 1440 from affection, finalizing her at 10440hp. Canna's offense caps at 3600 with the same bonus of 1440, finishing her off at 5040. Defensively, she caps at 1600 with affection bonus of 600, making her 2200. Quite the heavy one, she goes at a pace of 300 speed(I blame her evolution). Her skill is a series of whacks and kicks called, Gold Makes the World go Round, doing 2.3x her dmg at a rate of 22%(32 max) to a single enemy. A pretty average skill but contains the popular word used in owarai comedy, "boke" which is used for someone who is kindve an airhead and makes stupid comments. At the end, her horn thingy also flies off on her final hit. Now her abilities; her first one increases two party members critical hits by a medium amount. To be honest, I do not know how effective this is since I do not even know what the critical hit rate may be(I guess 5%) but if you have Sakura in your team, you can try to make her go crazy with that new attack animation! Her 2nd ability increase 3 party members attack by 10% including her own. So average stats with possibly a nice ability, her main attraction is definitely her kansai accent and her evoluted boobs.

Canna's illustrated in accordance with a Japanese festival theme. She wears a red/orange happi(her coat) and bares her legs while wearing a pair of tabi and zori(traditional socks and sandals). Her dark indigo and black sash hold her traditional cloth vest and has on some short shorts for her hips. She has a kind of white hairband on her interestingly tied hair with little hoops in the back and has her own canna flower on her left chest. At her ankle,even though its yellow, those are also canna flowers as they are quite a few kinds of them. She stands a pose full of confidence with her arms up, showing her power as a blunt hitter.
Once this flower is evolved, she ditches her vest for the soft fruits that hang from her chest pop out and are barely tied together by some simple bandages.  The happi is tucked inside her now white sash and her short shorts change into bottom undergarments. She now carries her weapon in hand which is a just a horn which she probably uses for attracting customers to the Tougenkyou she works at. A necklace with a coin flies around her neck and at the tips of her happi sleeves also has these dark rings attached by purple strings. The flower on her chest is gone but instead the ones on her ankles are now the red one that she represents. Now they are also attached with these little shiny jingle bells. Traditionally hot ain't she?

What's funny is that during the month her event was going on, I found out about a Japanese comedy show called Gaki no Tsukai, which all the cast speak in kansai dialect and do crazy things. I've always thought kansai dialect was kind of a bit wierd and not something I'd try to speak but after watching that show, it's become alot more....addicting I'll say haha. All the reactions make you want to copy them and get into learning how they speak. The best of the show for me is the 24 Hours No Laughing series where they go to be trainees at a hospital or airline and survive a whole day of trying not to laugh while being attaked by all these "laughing assassins." So the Canna flower has many sorts of different vibrant looks from the constant cross breedings they go through so specifics aren't really classified. The one represented in the game is this red/orange one to the left here. Although they are not lillies, they are sometimes called canna lillies. They like to live in heat and bask in the sun, with of course plenty of moisture around. They were originally part of the tropics but due to their durability, they've spread to wherever the sun hits them most of the day. They seem really popular to keep as a plant at your home and many sites online sell them. With all their different forms, mature canna lillies can grow from 2 feet up to 10 feet tall. Their leaves have a sort of waxy texture so they are not bothered by most pests or fungus. Bugs like caterpillars may be hungry for them though.... At least they attract pretty little humingbirds to them.
Nothing much too deep but that is your information on this flower! Saying any more would just be all from wikipedia so that can be checked out on your own time. I have tried to search up its flower meaning but my results were inconsistent so I did not write anything about it.

New Tutorial Guide Video

I decided to make a video from the very start of a danchou's life. I'll put this in the Basic Guide section but thought I'd make a post here to get it known for people to see. It's a bit out of order but hope it teaches you well. It covers most of the basic stuff so if you want more details, you will need to check out the guide pages. Will possibly update those more if felt neccessary.

 

New players nowadays are really spoiled though, a gold girl from the start, all those daily rewards, lower lv requirement for new teams, took us alot longer to get the same things done compared to now.

Hurray for Fireworks!

This was at some river in Tokyo...

Festivals are in motion and now is the time for nice ending touch to say goodbye summer, fireworks! Very common in Japan to do and makes its way to FKG also. Every battle you'll fight in the event stages will feature ongoing fireworks in the background, how cool is that? All the new girls are in theme and all wear a yukata for their evolution. The event girl even has two colored eyes, just like Sakura and she also wears a yukata for her evolution! The team has been working a lot lately and we constantly seem to be getting new changes and things added in every patch now.

-2nd tab Section Gacha. Not sure what this one is but the new girls are not included (I'm guessing its a repeat of one of the first new editions of girls since it has Bremen in the name)

Are you ready for Summer Event 2015?

So summer has been ongoing for awhile and now comes the fun part of it, festivals! Many dmm games right now have some sort of summer event up including Kancolle which I hear is going to have a real challenging event(easy mode here I comeXD) but right now, FKG is continuing its beach time with mizugi girls and coral hunting! Again, a lot of little changes, some big ones too now. The results of the girl voting are finally coming into the scene.

-A bit more changes in the character tab organization, now when you pick the fodder to feed your base girl, all the available ones will be sorted to the top instead of staying at their original spots.
-They buffed abilities and skill chance for some girls. Sakura now does 3.8x dmg for her skill!(talk about op)
-They added in extra animations for Sakura and Hototogisu from the results of the voting back a few months ago. Sakura now has new sprite expression and her tied hair which wags like a cats tail. Also, whenever she does a critical hit, her animation is the same as the one seen in the theater with all those crazy mini shots. Hototogisu should be similar and also has an embarrassed expressions sprite.

-New character quests, Oncidium, Yellow Tulip, Dipladenia, and Lavender has been added.

-Quest tab has changed positions.

-Raid boss icon has been changed(its a little smaller).


Top is old, bottom is new

-The numbers of the damage done to the mobs now show even after it dies.

-A little campaign for hana stones, buy a pack of 11 for 500 pts(originally the price for 5).

That should be all the new changes in this patch. But the exciting thing is.....A past event girl is making its way back to us! That's right, Lavender is now available with her own events ongoing now. Check out the details in the Event section. For all those that joined later on as I did, this is quite the blessing. I joined when it was Tachibana's event so that means I missed Lavender, Edelweiss, Yamayuri, and Yorugao. Lets hope they bring them all back.

Summer Time!

Sun shining bright, the ocean makin waves, and the tropical theme at Banana Ocean marks the start of the Summer Event in Flower Knight Girl! The beaches are sandy, the girls are in mizugi, and the mobs are....still caterpillars and slugs..But yes! It is now summer. And this summer patch also comes with a few little added things to make it even more fun and stressfree.
Congratulations to those that were able to complete last event and got all the medals. Sadly I wasn't one of them. But forget the past and on to the new one! This event style will be like Himeyuri and Southern Cross in which we need to collect special event drops from bosses to cash in and trade for the event girl and items for her skill lv and equipment slots. More info in the Event tab.

-So for the changes, first thing I noticed was that there was a new world in the special tab section and it had the name of an area. The next day I checked and it changed to another area name so it seems like another one of those certain day dungeons(they don't appear on exp fairy days). Not sure how far they go up to yet, might be only 4 for now. You will need to have the specific area girls in order to do these maps(didn't I just say they might do something like this last week? Ya?) Nice to have something added in the special tab.

Press twice to change forms

-Another thing was the party that will be seen and be used by your friends. Now it is only the first team of your first set that will be seen by other people. Not much need to worry about looking like a noob to them now or not being helpful when you need to change teams to do your own thing.
-And about secretaries! Now you can choose anyone to be your lovely waifu, just go to the 2nd tab of the character screen and it will be the top right button that wasn;t there before. But now clicking on them won't change their form. Instead, you click the secretary button again to alternate between the before or after evolution forms.
-See something new in the quest section? Now there's a new tab for Character quests! Currently there are only 4 of them and three are the new gacha girls. To be able do them, you must have the character, have her as your leader, and be the right lv. I'm sure we will see more character quests in time for the ones that aren't new.

 

-This wasn't at this patch but just to say, the encyclopedia isn't jumbled up anymore, it properly sorts them out based on rarity now. Also when picking out from present box, it doesn't reset to the top everytime.
-The way bosses are distributed now can be decided by you. When the sharing sign comes, it will now have 2 choices, the left to share to everyone and the right to share only to friends. Was sad when they made it only for everyone so this makes me glad.

That's it for the changes now, who knows if we have more in store for us. They are doing their monthly 2 hana stone giveaway again this week and with that, new girls to get. They are these,

I'd think the blond would be the rainbow but it's the blu loli.... well that makes us be happy about getting golds too right? Let's not be too obsessed with getting rainbows. The campaign gacha this time is simply these girls getting a bonus chance in appearing if chosen in their rarity.

They introduced a new op dungeon map suggesting 4875k power now. I can't even beat the first one yet so I'll leave this to the ones that can...

Convenient for the Soul

Hey hey, hows this summer going for you? Are you the one that has summer school or work you gotta do in this hot season? Well to alleviate some of the stress, the developers at FKG and made organization a lot easier! Hurray, now we can change the team orders simply by clicking these small arrows, up or down, instead of having to take the girl out for this team, the same for the other team, put the girls into this one, and the rest into that one... Plus they added more organization orders in the preset kind of menu. Now they have locations as an option for example, choosing Blossom Hill will bring in anyone from blossom hill to the teams and just them. The other setup is for the attributes such as red slashing or purple witch. I don't see a particular meaning for it besides being more creative with it? For the attributes, you can see all your best colors on the same team but for locations its simply checking where all certain girls are from really. Unless....they add a location based event..... ;D

That's not all, now we can see a girls movement speed by hovering over the team while you are deploying your girls on the map. No need to memorize which team was faster than the other one now.

 There's a cute little clip with Sakura and Ume dueling each other out! I really want Ume, only using 2 yellows at the moment..... I really tried at this time, did a batch, a few more, only silvers, esp ones that I didn't need......
